During Lockdown we are missing seeing all your lovely faces, but while we know it's not quite the same we're uploading a story and singing time every Tuesday morning on our Facebook page - why not join the group?
Our stories and songs are in the process of being uploaded to YouTube so soon non-Facebook folk can share them. Watch this space.
Under normal circumstances...
Toddlers @ WBC is run by volunteers from Wallingford Baptist Church
We hope that those who attend feel welcome, make friends and that your children have lots of fun here. Toddlers runs from 10am-11.30am every Tuesday during school term time. There is no charge for attendance, but we ask for a small contribution towards drinks & biscuits (which are served from the hatch in the Living Room).
We have two rooms full of toys suitable from babies up to pre-school age children. We usually have a craft activity and at around 11am each week we have a story-time and singing led by Pastor Simon and members of the Toddlers Committee.
Occasionally we have a Prayer Picnic after our main session finishes, and you are welcome to leave prayer requests in the box or even better, bring your own lunch and join us for an informal chatty lunch where we share issues we want prayer for and take these to God together.
Toddlers @ WBC on Facebook
We have a Facebook group for parents and carers. Those whose children attend are welcome to join at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ToddlersWBC/
You might also be interested in trying our monthly Monday morning "Mustard Seeds" group - or dropping in any time on Mondays to the Thames Street Living Room - more information about both here.
All our work with children is governed by WBC's Safeguarding Children Policy, and even though at Toddlers we make it clear that the carers are always responsible for their children, our Toddlers team have been through our safeguarding procedures.
