We believe church should be for everyone. Whatever your age, personality or background. Whether you have been to church before or not. You can be assured of a very warm welcome at WBC. We usually have two services on a Sunday.
Our morning service starts at 10:30am. It is our larger service with around 100 adults and children present.
Our time starts with us all joining together for worship and prayer. Children and young people then usually go to their own age related activities to discover more about the Christian faith.
The remaining adults will spend time exploring together a passage or topic from the Bible. We believe the Bible is relevant to all aspects of our 21st century living and not only gives us wisdom for living but shows us how we can know God in our living and be transformed by him.
Once a month we will share Communion (The Lord's Supper) together at the end of the service.
A collection towards God's work through our church is usually taken during one of the songs, but as a visitor we hope you will not feel under any pressure to contribute. Many of our most committed regulars will not be putting anything in the dish as most of us give via standing order. Click here for more information about giving to WBC.
Our morning service normally concludes around midday, after which tea and coffee is served, and there is a chance to catch up with others and have a chat.
Occasionally our morning service is an all-age service where the children stay in and the content is appropriate to them.
Our calendar will indicate whether a service includes Communion or is an All-Age service.

These are held at 7pm and usually last for around an hour. They are smaller and more informal than the morning services. This term we will be having a variety of service styles.
Life Story - a member of our church family will share part of their Life Story during the service. Some of these services will be led by our young people.
Life Question – in these services we will be looking at some of life’s big questions from a biblical perspective
Life Hacks – looking at biblical and church community wisdom with shared experience as we seek help in how to live our complicated lives
Once a month we will share Communion (The Lord’s Supper) together as part of the service.
